User Interaction can be defined as the 'conversation' between a person and a device.

Usability is the evaluation of how well that 'conversation' communicates to the person‘s expectations and establishes a simple dialog. Is the software efficient, easy, and satisfying to use?

'Conversation' is communication that occurs on many different levels.

Terminology: What are things called and named?

Touch: The input hardware; mouse, keyboard, remote, touch screen.

Sight: Visual appearance and cues of buttons, icons, text, color, and animations.

Audio: Mostly beeps and clicks.
